The organization can be reached anonymously 24/7 via the free helpline 0800-24 000 22. When a guest contacts them, they will always speak to a trained counselor. Open Over Gokken offers professional guidance or refers guests to a counselor in their area. Together with the family and/or loved ones, they determine what kind of help is most appropriate. The website also offers self-tests, as well as information about responsible gambling and recovery from gambling addiction.

  • If you have any concerns about gambling behavior, please contact a casino employee or the head office.
  • For support and referral to specialized assistance:

2. Gambling break via the White List

  • Request a location-based access ban for yourself at the casino to protect yourself from problem gambling. Validity period: 6 months.
    • Purpose: Protection against your own problematic gambling.

3. Process of voluntary exclusion from CRUKS (Central Register of Excluded Gamblers)

  • Option to exclude yourself from all legal gambling providers in the Netherlands:
    • Voluntary registration:
      • Viacruksregister.nl(using DigiD or a paper form sent by mail).
      • Option for voluntary exclusion following advice from Fair Play Casino.
      • Select an exclusion period of 6 months to 99 years.
      • Exclusion can be combined with treatment for gambling addiction.
 

4. Process of Involuntary Exclusion in CRUKS

  • Option to exclude someone from all legal gambling providers in the Netherlands:
    • Option for loved ones (spouse, family member, guardian, administrator) to have someone involuntarily excluded via CRUKS if gambling behavior causes harm
    • The Gaming Authority may activate the exclusion after investigation. The guest will be notified, including the name of the applicant.
    • Fair Play Casino can also initiate this process via the Responsible Gambling Manager.
    • If the gambling behavior does not improve after various interventions, the Responsible Gambling Manager will inform the Gaming Authority after thorough investigation and a personal interview. After investigation, the Gaming Authority may enforce registration.
    • The process—decision-making after review by the KSA—takes at least six weeks.
    • Processing time: minimum 6 weeks.
