RESPONSIBLE GAMING

Gambling is a game of chance, not a game of skill. Some guests believe they can influence the outcome of games of chance, but the results are random. The belief that you can beat the system, known as "magical thinking" or "gambling illusions," is incorrect. Remember that the outcome of every game of chance is random. Avoid falling into magical thinking, such as relying on personal betting systems, lucky numbers, or certain rituals. None of these have any influence on the outcome of a game of chance!

You should be aware that you are dealing with games of chance where only chance determines the outcome and you have no influence whatsoever on the outcome. Any winnings are purely coincidental and winning prizes is not guaranteed. This is not a game of skill where experience and skills can influence the outcome and winnings.

More information about gambling legislation in the Netherlands can be found on the website of the Gaming Authority.

RESPONSIBLE - SAFE GAMBLING - GAMBLING BEHAVIOR:

Responsible gambling means playing within your own pre-determined limits or the limits and budget you have set in the Gambling Limits card. Stick to these agreements and do not continuously adjust your own limits!

If you decide in advance how much money you can afford to lose, things are less likely to get out of hand. What's more, it sends a signal to yourself if you do end up crossing this self-imposed line.

Ask yourself questions in advance, such as:

  • How much time do you want to spend at the casino per visit?
  • How many days a week or month do you want to visit our casino at most?
  • What is the maximum amount of money you want to spend per visit?

TIPS FOR RESPONSIBLE AND SAFE GAMBLING

  • Only gamble when you feel good: Avoid gambling when you are experiencing negative emotions, as this can lead to risky behavior.
  • Avoid substance use: Do not gamble under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as this affects your judgment.
  • Set limits: Decide in advance how much money and time you want to spend and stick to it, regardless of profit or loss.
  • Only use money you can afford to lose: Never gamble with money that is intended for essential expenses or that you cannot afford to lose.
  • Don't get into debt: Never borrow money to gamble and avoid debt.
  • Accept losses and take profits in time: Don't try to win back losses and don't use profits to continue playing.
  • Take regular breaks: Don't play for too long at a time and take breaks to avoid overstimulation.
  • Do not view gambling as a solution: Never use gambling to resolve financial issues and only gamble for enjoyment, not to earn money.

In principle, guests are always responsible for their own gaming behavior, ensuring that they do not play longer or more often than is good for them or than their personal financial situation allows. However, guests can always count on us when this proves difficult or unsuccessful. All our qualified staff are available to help you with any questions you may have.
